An active member of the business community in the Rocky Mountain West, Cara focuses on building relationships with new clients throughout the region.

She offers strategy and oversight on all of Linden’s work, and specializes in public relations. Cara lends a pragmatic approach to generating success in the evolving media landscape, with deep insight into print, broadcast and online media.

Former press secretary to Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal, Cara brings extensive knowledge of western issues and Wyoming state government, and experience on both sides of the media. In the Governor’s Office, Cara oversaw all communications strategy, helping craft messaging and position the office on evolving issues. She led Wyoming’s communications efforts on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, coordinated interviews on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” “NOW” on PBS and other national print and broadcast media.

Cara began her career as a newspaper journalist and has worked as a reporter, photographer and section editor, and has served on editorial boards. She is Linden’s staff photographer, in addition to her role spearheading the company’s development of new business.

She and her husband, Ryan, are active in the outdoors and spend their free time in the mountains, hiking, biking and skiing.
