Cara Eastwood, former press secretary to Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal, joined the Linden team in September 2009, bringing with her extensive knowledge of western issues and Wyoming state government, and experience on both sides of the media. Working closely with the Governor and policy staff, Cara managed all media and communications, helping craft messaging and position the Governor’s Office on evolving issues. She led Wyoming’s communications efforts on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, coordinated interviews on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” “NOW” on PBS and other national print and broadcast media. Cara began her career as a newspaper journalist and has worked as a reporter, photographer and section editor and served on the editorial board of the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle. At Linden, Cara manages existing accounts and focuses on building relationships with new clients in Wyoming and throughout the region. She and her fiancé love the outdoors and spend their free time hunting, hiking and fishing.
