Cheyenne
Our home in Wyoming can be found on the corner of 24th Street and Carey Avenue, just a stone's throw from the State Capitol. The historic building was the childhood home of attorney Bill Swainson, who still owns the place. We share our office space with Bill and delight in the many great stories he shares with us about the 'old days' in Cheyenne and Fort Collins.

Fort Collins
Before Linden, our Fort Collins office, 223 South Howes, was home to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department. And before that, it belonged to Mr. and Mrs. Good.

Maude Good lived in the home from 1928 to 1988, where she passed away at more than 100 years old. Although none of us had ever met Mrs. Good, it seems as if she’s still here. Many people have come by to visit her old residence, sharing stories about her—how she used to sweep the street out front, and how she was a very tidy housekeeper. Sometimes footsteps can be heard upstairs when the house is empty, and we’ve often wondered if it’s Maude saying hello.

This drawing was a gift to us in 2008 when our little house made it on the Historic Homes Tour!

Many guests at our Fort Collins office remark about the appeal of our homey environment. Our 1921 Craftsman-style home was featured on Fort Collins’s 2008 Historic Homes Tour, but regardless of its recognition, we’ve always known that the Dealy-Good House is a special place.
