green marketing
More and more, our clients want to make a positive difference when it comes to conserving resources and making efficient choices.
Much of the time, "green marketing" is a matter of taking your organization’s efforts online. But if printing is still an important part of what you do, Linden can put you in touch with a variety of environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.
Printing Green
Making your printed pieces eco-friendly doesn’t mean you have to print everything on brown kraft paper. Paper companies offer a variety of recycled, unbleached and responsible choices that look the same as what you’re using.
Paper with recycled content can either contain materials recycled during the manufacturing process (pre-consumer) or after use (post-consumer). The percentage of each should be listed near the symbol.
Paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council is made from wood harvested from sustainably managed forests.
Tree-free – Paper that is made from cotton, bamboo, seaweed or another alternative fiber.
Soy inks – Most press inks contain a percentage of soy products, including our standard low-VOC, bio-based Gans Inks, which are 71.25% bio-based oils with at least 20% soy. Varying percentages of soy-based inks are appropriate for certain needs—let us help you choose a product that meets your needs.
